The process of commissioning a custom piece of
furniture is easy. If
you have an idea let me know and I will work with you to come up with a
suitable starting point for design. We will work together to create a
piece that fits your decor and lifestyle.
Once the initial idea and concept have been finalized, a
deposit of 30
% of the total value will be required to secure studio time to have
your
heirloom quality piece crafted for you. At this point we will finalize the
details and I will submit drawings for your approval and the piece
will be made. You can expect to receive
regular
updates as to the progress and expected delivery date as well as a
chance
to visit while the work is in progress should you be near enough.
Shipping can be arranged to anywhere in NZ, Australia or
overseas. Through the use
of various companies I try to ensure the lowest rates possible. A
modest
crating fee would be applied to cover time and materials on all shipments.
I will always deliver in person where possible.
